Meet Christian Smith
Christian is a lifetime resident of North Carolina and is proud to serve as a criminal defense lawyer in his home state. As a combat veteran with over 20 years of military service, he continues to fight for the rights of people right here in eastern North Carolina.
Christian also spent time as a Probation/Parole Officer for the State of North Carolina and later served as an Assistant District Attorney for Onslow and Jones Counties. He then worked as an Associate Attorney at a private law firm in Onslow County before deciding to start his own firm.
Since starting his career as a criminal defense attorney, Christian has represented clients on everything from minor traffic tickets (minimizing or eliminating the impact on both their driving record and insurance) to serious violent felonies. In 2025 he was certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Board Certified Specialist in State Criminal Law.
Christian immensely enjoys the work he gets to do as a criminal defense attorney. He also enjoys the many opportunities it provides him to give back to the community in which he serves, such as sponsoring local charities or supporting local businesses.
